These types of shows are pretty standard with the story, just about becoming more powerful and outsmarting your opponents, even if you have to use deceit to get an advantage. What makes this show stand out from the rest is the use of strategies & tactics, which most of the other shows lacks. If you don't like Cultivation Fantasies, then this is not for you. If you are not familiar with the concept then I recommend you watch something like Douluo Dalu first, where they explain everything from scratch, as otherwise this show already spect you to understand what's going on and all the mythology behind it. The animation is pretty standard Chinese 3d. The landscapes, flora & fauna are always interesting in these types of shows, here is where the imagination gets put to work. The sound & music are pretty good. There is very little character development in these types of shows, the main protagonist usually knows it all, while the rest either learn a little bit because they interact with him or get pushed away and forgotten.
